Disable Trending Searches Suggestion in Google Chrome
It looks like the recent google chrome browser update added new functionality to the chrome browser to suggest “Trending Searches Suggestion.”
If you open your Google Chrome browser on your desktop or Android chrome mobile app, you will notice some auto search suggestions when you tried to type something on your chrome address bar.
These suggestions are in no way relevant to the user.
These are general suggestion which is currently trending in that location or country.
If you don’t like those search suggestions on the chrome address bar, as shown in the below image, here is a guide to removing those trending searches from your browser.

How to Disable Google Chrome Trending Search Suggestion on Chrome Desktop
1) Visit below address by entering it in your chrome address bar
chrome://settings/syncSetup
2) Under the “Other Google Services” section, Turn Off “Autocomplete searches and URLs”

That’s it.
Once you disable that option, your chrome desktop browser will remove those trending search suggestions and offer your recent search suggestions.

How to Remove Trending Search Suggestion on Chrome Android Browser
If you need to disable/remove/stop those trending search suggestion on your chrome android browser? Then follow the below instruction.

Step 1: Open your Chrome app on your Android device
Step 2: Click on “Tree Dot” icon on upper right corner on your browser

Step 3: Select “Settings” and click on “Sync and Google services” option
Step 4: Turn Off “Auto-complete searches and URLs” option

That’s it.
Once you have done the above steps in your chrome app, it will stop suggesting those trending search suggestions on your chrome android browser.
