Easily Find Out Which Folder Eating Up your Hard Disk Space and Clean it-WinDirStat
Facing low disk space warning? or don’t have space to store your new data on PC? If you are troubling from disk space problem due to unused folder/files which is eating up your hard drive space without knowing you, then you can easily identify those folder with WinDirStat and clean up hard drive with it.
We don’t have time to check or maintain our hard disk time to time, as a result some must unused junk folders/files left inside the hard disk itself. When we try to copy some important files to our hard disk, on that time we notice that our hard disk is not have enough space to fit that drive. But it’s late, we cannot easily track which folder/file is occupying a large data to clean up hard drive.
WinDirStat can easily find which folder is occupying how much size and it displays in tree directory structure so that we easily find which folder or file is occupying space on hard disk and also we can easily clean it up.
In the above image you may notice that how WinDirStat is displaying result of usage of hard disk in Tree Structure, it helps us to easily find space on hard drive. If you find any folder which don’t need anymore, just click DEL button in keyboard to delete that folder.
It also display which format/extension of file is using high disk in Right side. In my case my hard drive is filled with .mp3 means Songs.
If you are trying to freeing up disk space then you must take use of WinDirStat utility. It is very small program but helps lot when you cleaning up hard drive. If you want to clean up temporary files then I recommend to you to use CCleaner daily.
